IX5 Copyright and Takedown Policy
IX5 respects copyright and expects users, teams and event contributors to upload or share only material they are authorised to use.
A complete notice allows the disputed material and the claimed original work to be identified. False or careless claims can harm legitimate creators and may carry legal consequences.

Content covered by this process
A notice may concern text, images, video, graphics, event media or another protected work available through IX5. Match facts, titles and basic ideas are not treated the same as an original expressive work.
Before filing, consider whether you own the right, are authorised to act and whether the use may be licensed or otherwise permitted.
Information needed in a notice
Identify the copyrighted work and the exact IX5 location of the material claimed to infringe. Provide a reliable contact method and a statement explaining your authority and good-faith belief.
Sign the notice physically or electronically as required by the applicable process. Do not include unrelated personal documents.
- Description of the original work
- Exact URL or location of disputed material
- Name and contact information
- Required good-faith, accuracy and authority statements
Review and temporary action
IX5 may request clarification, restrict access to identified material or notify the contributor while reviewing a complete notice. Incomplete or overly broad claims may not allow the material to be located.
A takedown decision does not automatically resolve ownership disputes beyond the platform.
Counter-notice and restoration
A contributor who believes material was removed through mistake or misidentification may be able to submit a counter-notice with the required identification, statements and consent to the applicable process.
IX5 may provide the counter-notice to the claimant and restore material when legally permitted unless timely legal action is reported.
Repeat infringement and misuse
Accounts repeatedly involved in substantiated infringement may be restricted under the platform policy. IX5 may also act against notices or counter-notices that misuse the process.
For trademark, privacy or other complaints, use the support category that matches the right involved rather than labelling every dispute as copyright.
Teams and event contributors should keep licence records for logos, music, broadcast clips and promotional graphics. Permission to appear in a match does not automatically grant permission to reuse every recording or creative asset in a new campaign.
