IX5 Privacy Policy
This policy describes the categories of information connected with accounts, esports participation, support and site operation.
It should be read together with the notices shown when a specific verification, event or payment-administration process requests information. Do not submit data through an unofficial channel.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
Information that may be collected
Account registration may include a player name, contact method, recovery settings and region. Event participation can add team membership, in-game identifiers, registration records, match results and communications required to administer the competition.
Technical operation may produce device, browser, IP, diagnostic and security records. Identity, age or payment information should be collected only when relevant to eligibility, lawful participation-fee handling, refunds or performance-prize administration.
- Account and recovery information
- Event, roster, score and conduct records
- Device, log and security information
- Support messages and permitted attachments
How information may be used
Information may be used to create and secure accounts, register competitors, run matches, publish appropriate results, investigate rule reports and answer support requests.
It may also support fraud prevention, platform security, service improvement, legal compliance and administration of permitted fees or performance prizes. Marketing preferences should be handled separately from essential event notices.
When information may be shared
Relevant data may be processed by infrastructure, communications, verification, security or payment providers that support the requested function. An event organiser may receive roster and result information needed to operate the competition.
Information may also be disclosed when lawfully required or necessary to protect users, competition integrity or platform rights. Public profiles and leaderboards should not reveal private recovery or identity documents.
- Use is limited to the required service.
- Access should follow role and security controls.
- Providers should protect information under applicable obligations.
- Passwords and OTPs should never be requested by support.
Retention and account closure
Account information may be retained while the profile is active. Some event, security, transaction or dispute records may remain after closure when needed for integrity, legal obligations, fraud prevention or a defined retention period.
Closing the app does not delete the account. Use the account request process and understand that historical brackets or final results may continue to identify the competitor name used during the event.
Player choices and requests
Players may review and correct available profile fields, manage communications and request account closure through the provided controls. Access, deletion or objection rights can depend on applicable law and legitimate retention needs.
When making a privacy request, use the registered account or contact route and include enough information to locate the record without sending unnecessary documents.
Security and policy updates
IX5 should use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security. Players must protect credentials, recovery contacts and devices.
Material policy updates should be dated and communicated through an appropriate channel. Continued use after an effective date may be governed by the updated notice, subject to applicable law.
