IX5 esports eligibility checklist for competitors
Know whether the event fits before registering

Check IX5 Event Eligibility From Every Angle

Eligibility is more than an age line. An esports event may also restrict region, game rank, team composition, device type or prior qualification.

Read the current event requirements as a complete set. Meeting one condition does not override another, and eligibility cannot be transferred from a teammate’s account.

01

Begin with personal and regional conditions

Check the minimum age, residence or location requirement and any verification deadline. Regional events may use residency, current location or server region differently, so read the exact wording.

Do not use another person’s details or location tools to bypass a restriction. A later review can remove the player or team result.

  • Minimum age on the event date
  • Permitted country, state or server region
  • Identity or age review deadline
  • One eligible account per competitor
02

Confirm account and game qualifications

Some events require a completed IX5 profile, a linked in-game ID, a minimum rank or earlier qualifier result. Check whether the requirement is measured at registration or at roster lock.

Use the same game account throughout the event unless the rules permit a documented change.

Review the roster as a group

A team can fail eligibility even when every player is individually eligible if the roster size, substitute count or club requirement is wrong. Captains should verify invitations and roles before submitting.

If a player change is needed, follow the published substitution window. Quietly replacing an account after lock can become a rules violation.

  • Required starters and allowed substitutes
  • Captain responsibility and team name rules
  • Restrictions on multiple teams
  • Roster lock and emergency replacement process
04

Include device and connection rules in the decision

An event may be mobile-only, restrict controllers or require a particular game version. A powerful unsupported device is still ineligible.

Test the actual competition setup before registration closes. If a requirement is unclear, ask support with the event reference rather than relying on community guesses.

Questions players ask

Useful answers before the next match

The event may check at registration, roster lock, check-in or result review. Read the current rules for the exact timing.

Only if the event’s multi-team and roster rules allow it. Do not assume substitute status removes the restriction.

Ask through the official event support route before the deadline and keep the answer with the event reference.
