For recognised esports, an entry or administration fee is not a wager. It must not be presented as a guaranteed return, and competition results remain determined by player performance under the rules.

Check the registration window, account qualification, roster size and device rules together. A visible button may open the form even when one eligibility condition remains unfinished.

Keep performance-prize terms separate
A performance prize should be tied to published placement or scoring, subject to eligibility and result review. It is not a return on an entry fee and should not be described with betting odds.
Read whether the amount is allocated per player or per team and whether applicable deductions or verification requirements are stated.
Check how event changes are communicated
Schedules, server regions or formats may need adjustment. The terms should explain the notice channel and what happens if a material change prevents participation.
Save the version available when you registered. A dated notice makes later questions easier to resolve.

Do not accept on behalf of another competitor
Each player should understand the rules that affect their account and eligibility. Captains can coordinate a roster but should not create or operate accounts for teammates.
